The Israeli Robotics Association is committed to representing the interests of the entire robotics community, academia and industry, in governmental and other forums.  IROB is unique in that it attempts to balance the search for knowledge and the development of new technologies that is typical to academia, with the pressure to gain financially from such activities that is typical to the industry and commercial entities.  IROB’s activities therefore include the organization of scientific conferences that serve as a primary meeting place for researchers, engineers, enterpreneours, and investors, and decision makers , as well as offering less formal meetings of the robotics community that focus on specific topics that are relevant at that time.

Prof. Zvi Shiller

Head of the Master program in Mechanical Engineering. His main research interests include model-based motion planning and control of autonomous vehicles, and the development of affordable assistive robotic devices.
